PNC will reimburse non-PNC Bank ATM fees and surcharges for free checking accounts opened through our PNC WorkPlace Banking program each month a qualifying direct deposit of $400 or more is received, regardless of account balance. Fees will be reimbursed at the end of each statement cycle. When a direct deposit of $400 or more is not received the account must maintain an average monthly balance of $2,000 or more to receive reimbursement of ATM fees, in all cases. For Performance and Performance Select accounts, there is no charge from PNC Bank for using non-PNC Bank ATMs and we will automatically reimburse surcharges. Fees for savings and money market transactions will not be reimbursed regardless of account balance. A qualifying direct deposit is defined as a recurring direct deposit of a paycheck, Social Security, pension or other regular monthly income electronically deposited into a WorkPlace Banking Checking account each statement cycle. The minimum amount of any Direct Deposit must be at least $400. The Direct Deposits must be made by your employer or an outside agency. Transfers from one account to another, or deposits made at a branch or ATM, do not qualify as Direct Deposits.
