LionCash+ is an online, prepaid
flexible spending account accessed by your Penn State id+ card.
Deposit money into your account, and you will enjoy the convenience of
being able to make purchases at participating on- and off-campus locations
without having cash in your pocket. It's like having exact change
all the time! The amount of your purchase will be deducted from
your account and your remaining balance will be instantly displayed.
LionCash+ is accepted at over
100 on- and off-campus locations. Whether purchasing your books
for this semester, grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many on- or off-campus
restaurants, making photocopies for an assignment, or purchasing a sweatshirt
for those cold Penn State football games, LionCash+ allows you to do it
all with just the swipe of your id+ card.

Getting started is easy and free! There are no forms to fill out
or fees to pay to participate – simply activate your account with an intial
deposit at one of the following locations......
+ Online with a Visa or Mastercard
using id+
Online – transactions are processed in real-time and are processed as a standard purchase (not as a cash advance).
+ In person with cash, check,
Visa or Mastercard at University Park Commons Desks, at the University
Park id+ Office in 103 HUB-Robeson Center, or at the University Park Assignment
Office for Campus Residences in 101 Shields Bldg.
+ With cash at one of the following
University Park Value Transfer Stations (VTS):

+ Active accounts remain open
and carry forward from semester to semester and from year to year – you
can even request a refund upon graduation or withdrawal from the University.
+ It complements the on-campus residents' A La Board meal plan – if you run out of meal points, on-campus dining registers will automatically default to your LionCash+ account. If there are enough funds to cover the cost of your purchase, the funds will automatically be withdrawn from your LionCash+ account and the sale will be processed at the A-La Board rate.
